About
The Glassroots Art Show is an annual event organized to represent and promote
the community-driven movement of American-Made Functional Glass.
In 2013, Glassroots will debut a spring show in Austin, TX.
Glassroots Art Show aims to connect buyers directly with artists, providing a streamlined business environment, in a family-friendly atmosphere. The Flame Off remains free and open to the public, which allows the raw material and tool sponsors access to the regional lampworking public. Glassroots Art Show evolved from The Great Lakes Art Show of 2009, with the idea that the show represented a movement and could be transferred to several locations across the country. The vendors of Glassroots provide quality functional art, and consistently push the limits of creativity.
